Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 1.06%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 1.06% to hit a new 52-week low.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM), which rose 4.38% or 389.00 points to trade at 9,265.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) added 2.36% or 11.30 points to end at 489.70 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) was up 1.83% or 60.00 points to 3,337.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG), which fell 5.60% or 249.00 points to trade at 4,201.00 at the close. Harel (TASE:HARL) declined 4.55% or 118.00 points to end at 2,477.00 and Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE1) was down 4.03% or 138.00 points to 3,287.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 311 to 139 and 94 ended unchanged.

Shares in Harel (TASE:HARL) fell to 52-week lows; losing 4.55% or 118.00 to 2,477.00. Shares in Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE1) fell to 52-week lows; losing 4.03% or 138.00 to 3,287.00.

Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.89% or 0.78 to $87.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.60% or 0.55 to hit $91.61 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.33% or 6.65 to trade at $1,987.75 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.16% to 4.06, while EUR/ILS rose 0.50% to 4.32.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 105.73.
