According to an official statement, the station’s operation is a collaborative effort between Shell and the Chinese EV industry leader, BYD (SZ:002594).
Currently, Shell manages approximately 800 EV charging stations across China, either through joint ventures or wholly-owned subsidiaries.
Shares of SHEL are up 0.49% in early trading Tuesday morning.
