Apple Inc. announced its newest iPhones earlier this week, and fans of the device are moving ever closer to getting their hands on one.

While the iPhone 15 lineup doesn’t become officially available until Sept. 22, preorders for the phone began earlier Friday. The new iPhones all are faster than their predecessors and pack camera improvements.

premium iPhone models last year but not on the base versions.

Would-be iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max owners will see those phones become lighter than their predecessors thanks to a new titanium casing. Additionally, the iPhone 15 Pro Max will have enhanced telephoto technology supporting zoom up to five times, as compared with three times previously.

All of the new iPhones will have USB-C charging.

Apple dropped the 128GB storage configuration for the Pro Max lineup, so the cheapest phone in that lineup will set you back $1,199 and pack 256GB of storage. The company kept prices the same as with the iPhone 14 line for its other three models: The iPhone 15 Pro will start at $999, the iPhone 15 Plus will begin at $899 and the iPhone 15 starts at $799.
