Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.46%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.46%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 2.67% or 17.40 points to trade at 669.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) added 2.50% or 6.70 points to end at 274.90 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was up 2.13% or 56.00 points to 2,690.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which fell 3.47% or 6.64 points to trade at 184.90 at the close. Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) declined 1.13% or 7.00 points to end at 613.20 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was down 0.19% or 2.00 points to 1,044.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 90 to 52 and 21 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.68% or 1.32 to $80.10 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.33% or 1.10 to hit $83.66 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.30% or 25.65 to trade at $1,944.45 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.81% to 6.78, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.45.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.83% at 101.47.
