Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.57%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.57%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE), which rose 5.49% or 143.00 points to trade at 2,750.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Kenon Holdings Ltd (TASE:KEN) added 3.59% or 360.00 points to end at 10,380.00 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) was up 2.40% or 77.00 points to 3,281.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG), which fell 5.15% or 320.00 points to trade at 5,888.00 at the close. Melisron (TASE:MLSR) declined 2.59% or 630.00 points to end at 23,660.00 and Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) was down 2.49% or 4,230.00 points to 165,600.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 304 to 169 and 35 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for June delivery was up 2.40% or 1.71 to $73.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 2.05% or 1.54 to hit $76.84 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.49% or 9.90 to trade at $2,034.70 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was unchanged 0.01% to 3.63, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.09% to 4.00.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 100.97.
