The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which rose 5.24% or 9.88 points to trade at 198.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) added 4.58% or 25.30 points to end at 577.50 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was up 3.62% or 5.45 points to 156.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which fell 0.85% or 22.00 points to trade at 2,572.00 at the close. Bavarian Nordic (CSE:BAVA) declined 0.50% or 1.00 points to end at 197.10 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was up 0.09% or 1.00 points to 1,079.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 98 to 58 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) rose to all time highs; gaining 0.09% or 1.00 to 1,079.60.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 1.48% or 1.08 to $74.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.03% or 0.80 to hit $78.39 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.34% or 6.65 to trade at $1,991.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.49% to 6.83, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.37% at 101.92.
