Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.58%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.58%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which rose 2.92% or 6.60 points to trade at 233.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) added 0.11% or 0.50 points to end at 473.40 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) was down 0.08% or 1.00 points to 1,294.50 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which fell 2.03% or 11.40 points to trade at 550.00 at the close. GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) declined 1.88% or 2.70 points to end at 140.70 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was down 1.83% or 1.80 points to 96.30.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 84 to 59 and 21 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.74% or 0.54 to $73.35 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.59% or 0.46 to hit $78.22 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.76% or 15.05 to trade at $1,986.55 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.42% to 6.87, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.45.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.41% at 102.10.
