Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.27%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.27%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which rose 4.60% or 20.10 points to trade at 457.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Nova (TASE:NVMI) added 3.32% or 1,030.00 points to end at 32,080.00 and Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE1) was up 3.23% or 119.00 points to 3,808.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR), which fell 2.12% or 3,740.00 points to trade at 172,500.00 at the close. Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) declined 1.49% or 8.50 points to end at 562.00 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) was down 1.38% or 200.00 points to 14,300.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 306 to 164 and 41 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was down 2.62% or 2.07 to $76.80 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 2.69% or 2.30 to hit $83.16 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.22% or 4.30 to trade at $1,941.00 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was unchanged 0.05% to 3.45, while EUR/ILS rose 0.52% to 3.77.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 101.57.
