Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 1.70%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.70%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which rose 4.85% or 126.00 points to trade at 2,725.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) added 2.94% or 2.06 points to end at 72.10 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was up 2.61% or 20.70 points to 815.20 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb), which fell 2.55% or 40.00 points to trade at 1,527.00 at the close. GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) declined 1.90% or 4.40 points to end at 226.60 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) was down 0.47% or 5.50 points to 1,153.50.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 95 to 55 and 18 ended unchanged.

Shares in Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) fell to 52-week lows; falling 2.55% or 40.00 to 1,527.00.

Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.64% or 0.60 to $93.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.72% or 0.72 to hit $99.50 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.29% or 5.15 to trade at $1,766.35 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was unchanged 0.03% to 7.46, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.04% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 108.50.
