Dow Futures Trade Lower As Earnings Continue

Investing.com – U.S stock futures fell during Thursday’s evening deals, after major benchmark averages finished higher during the regular session, with investors remaining squarely focused on Q2 corporate earnings results.

By 7:00pm ET (11:00pm GMT) Dow Jones Futures were down 0.2%, S&P 500 Futures dipped 0.4% and Nasdaq 100 Futures fell 0.7%

In extended deals, Snap Inc (NYSE:SNAP) tumbled 26.4% after reporting Q2 losses per share of $0.02, beating estimates of $0.20, while revenue came in at $1.11 billion versus $1.15 billion expected.

Seagate Technology PLC (NASDAQ:STX) fell 10.9% after the company reported Q4 EPS of $1.59 versus $1.9 expected on revenue of $2.63 billion versus $2.8 billion.

Boston Beer Company Inc (NYSE:SAM) dropped 9.6% after reporting Q2 EPS of $4.75, below expectations of $4.79, while revenues came in at $616.2 million versus $628.99 million.

Intuitive Surgical Inc (NASDAQ:ISRG) dropped 12.6% after the company reported Q2 EPS of $1.14 versus $1.2 expected on revenue of $1.52 billion versus $1.56 billion expected.

Capital One Financial Corporation (NYSE:COF) dropped 5.3% after reporting Q2 EPS of $4.96, below estimates of $5.1 while revenue came in at $8.23 billion versus estimates of $8.3 billion.

Mattel Inc (NASDAQ:MAT) fell 2.4% after reporting Q2 EPS of $0.18 beating estimates of $0.07. Revenues were at $1.24 billion versus estimates of $1.1 billion.

Ahead in the session, investors are awaiting results from American Express Company (NYSE:AXP), Verizon Communications Inc (NYSE:VZ), Schlumberger NV (NYSE:SLB) and Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR) among others, as well as fresh preliminary Manufacturing and Services PMIs.

During Thursday’s regular session, The Dow Jones Industrial Average added 162.06 points or 0.51% to 32,036.90, the S&P 500 rose 1% to 3,999 and the NASDAQ Composite finished 1.36% higher at 12,059.6.

On the bond markets, United States 10-Year yields were lower at 2.882%.
