ousted co-founder Tony Nash as chief executive following an internal business review of the online bookseller.
The ASX-listed company said Thursday that it appointed Chief Financial Officer Geoff Stalley as interim CEO. Booktopia has begun looking for a permanent CEO, it said.
Booktopia said the board had reviewed its overall strategy, efficiency and cost structure. It considered retaining Nash as chief growth officer but instead gave him notice to step away from executive management.
Booktopia shares are down almost 90% since August 2021.
