World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. reported a 30% jump in revenue in the latest quarter as the media and entertainment company’s live events resumed.

as the company focused on wrestling is called, said revenue in the fourth quarter totaled $310.3 million, up from $238.2 million.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected revenue of $325 million.
The company’s adjusted operating income before depreciation and amortization, one of its key metrics, was $97.2 million, up 90%. The company had guided for an Adjusted OIBDA of $75 million to $85 million during its third-quarter earnings release.
Net income for the fourth quarter was $63.9 million in the quarter, up from $13.6 million a year earlier.
Earnings per share were 76 cents, up from 16 cents a year earlier. Analysts polled by FactSet were expecting earnings of 54 cents a share.
