Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.18%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.18%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Shufersal (TASE:SAE), which rose 4.48% or 115 points to trade at 2683 at the close. Meanwhile, Harel (TASE:HARL) added 3.32% or 100 points to end at 3115 and Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE1) was up 2.63% or 82 points to 3195 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Perrigo (TASE:PRGO), which fell 12.58% or 1970 points to trade at 13690 at the close. Nova (TASE:NVMI) declined 3.45% or 1110 points to end at 31070 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) was down 1.81% or 170 points to 9210.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 282 to 198 and 19 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.70% or 0.48 to $67.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.74% or 0.52 to hit $70.11 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.07% or 18.45 to trade at $1750.15 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.11% to 3.2304, while EUR/ILS rose 0.35% to 3.7921.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 92.922.
