Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 1.37%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.37%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were ISS A/S (CSE:ISS), which rose 3.42% or 3.75 points to trade at 113.35 at the close. Meanwhile, Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM) added 2.78% or 20.0 points to end at 739.0 and Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) was up 2.77% or 62 points to 2302 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which fell 1.82% or 245 points to trade at 13205 at the close. Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) declined 1.60% or 11 points to end at 651 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) was down 1.32% or 1.8 points to 134.2.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 73 to 68 and 18 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.88% or 1.24 to $64.85 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.86% or 1.29 to hit $68.07 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.15% or 19.50 to trade at $1679.00 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.46% to 6.2699, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4364.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.34% at 92.302.
