The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Matrix (TASE:MTRX), which rose 3.63% or 265 points to trade at 7565 at the close. Meanwhile, Melisron (TASE:MLSR) added 3.41% or 600 points to end at 18200 and Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) was up 3.26% or 59 points to 1870 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA), which fell 0.91% or 310 points to trade at 33930 at the close. Maytronics (TASE:MTRN) declined 0.90% or 48 points to end at 5301 and Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) was down 0.47% or 100 points to 21300.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 238 to 189 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.10% or 0.05 to $52.37 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.22% or 0.12 to hit $54.98 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.44% or 8.05 to trade at $1837.95 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 1.06% to 3.2325, while EUR/ILS fell 1.11% to 3.9036.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.00% at 90.752.
