Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 1.63%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.63% to hit a new all time high.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 4.08% or 25.6 points to trade at 653.0 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 3.98% or 540 points to end at 14115 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was up 3.17% or 6.9 points to 224.6 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which fell 0.61% or 15.0 points to trade at 2425.0 at the close. GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) declined 0.47% or 2.3 points to end at 486.4 and Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) was down 0.35% or 2 points to 677.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 74 to 53 and 26 ended unchanged.

Shares in Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) rose to 52-week highs; up 4.08% or 25.6 to 653.0. Shares in AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) rose to 3-years highs; up 3.98% or 540 to 14115.

Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.36% or 0.66 to $49.02 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 1.13% or 0.58 to hit $52.08 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.09% or 1.75 to trade at $1888.65 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.32% to 6.0838, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4401.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.32% at 90.025.
