The best performers of the session on the CAC 40 were WFD Unibail Rodamco NV (AS:URW), which rose 17.88% or 8.92 points to trade at 58.82 at the close. Meanwhile, Thales (PA:TCFP) added 6.12% or 4.60 points to end at 79.74 and ArcelorMittal SA (AS:MT) was up 5.90% or 0.80 points to 14.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Teleperformance SE (PA:TEPRF), which fell 2.34% or 6.50 points to trade at 270.80 at the close. Worldline SA (PA:WLN) declined 1.19% or 0.88 points to end at 73.28 and Air Liquide SA (PA:AIRP) was down 0.58% or 0.80 points to 138.20.
The top performers on the SBF 120 were Vallourec (PA:VLLP) which rose 24.15% to 20.750, WFD Unibail Rodamco NV (AS:URW) which was up 17.88% to settle at 58.82 and CGG SA (PA:GEPH) which gained 13.77% to close at 0.877.
The worst performers were Neoen SA (PA:NEOEN) which was down 5.06% to 45.00 in late trade, Albioma SA (PA:ABIO) which lost 2.77% to settle at 43.80 and Genfit (PA:GNFT) which was down 2.53% to 4.01 at the close.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Paris Stock Exchange by 463 to 135 and 72 ended unchanged.
The CAC 40 VIX, which measures the implied volatility of CAC 40 options, was down 0.89% to 23.41.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.16% or 3.00 to $1889.20 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 4.04% or 1.62 to hit $41.75 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract rose 3.83% or 1.64 to trade at $44.42 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.04% to 1.1837, while EUR/GBP rose 0.12% to 0.8981.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 92.653.
