Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.42%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.42%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 3.77% or 7.2 points to trade at 196.9 at the close. Meanwhile, Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) added 2.09% or 13.6 points to end at 665.4 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 1.45% or 145 points to 10160 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE), which fell 3.22% or 3.0 points to trade at 88.8 at the close. ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) declined 2.68% or 2.30 points to end at 83.64 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was down 1.58% or 7.0 points to 432.0.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 84 to 42 and 20 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.35% or 0.52 to $39.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.03% or 0.42 to hit $41.23 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.23% or 4.45 to trade at $1910.15 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.14% to 6.2911, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4408.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 92.868.
