Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.38%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.38%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Maytronics (TASE:MTRN), which rose 3.26% or 167 points to trade at 5294 at the close. Meanwhile, Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:MZTF) added 3.04% or 202 points to end at 6850 and Poalim (TASE:POLI) was up 2.85% or 56 points to 2020 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA), which fell 3.65% or 880 points to trade at 23240 at the close. Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS) declined 3.57% or 354 points to end at 9554 and Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE) was down 2.85% or 2240 points to 76260.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 234 to 152 and 30 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.47% or 0.59 to $40.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.70% or 0.71 to hit $42.44 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.28% or 24.75 to trade at $1904.75 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.18% to 3.3798, while EUR/ILS fell 0.10% to 3.9966.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.32% at 92.892.
