The second presidential debate will be a virtual affair.

The Commission on Presidential Debates on Thursday announced the second presidential debate will be virtual.
The announcement comes after President Donald Trump was hospitalized for COVID-19. His challenger, Vice President Joe Biden, said he didn’t want to participate in a debate in person while Trump is recovering.
The commission said the decision was made “in order to protect the health and safety of all involved with the second presidential debate.”
The second debate will be a town hall, moderated by C-SPAN’s Steve Scully. The candidates will participate from separate remote locations.
