Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.60%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.60%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Maytronics (TASE:MTRN), which rose 3.08% or 148 points to trade at 4948 at the close. Meanwhile, International Flavors & Fragrances Inc (TASE:IFF) added 2.58% or 1060 points to end at 42130 and Nova (TASE:NVMI) was up 2.33% or 420 points to 18470 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA), which fell 3.36% or 110 points to trade at 3168 at the close. Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:MZTF) declined 2.16% or 151 points to end at 6849 and Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) was down 2.14% or 54 points to 2470.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 215 to 187 and 23 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.25% or 0.96 to $41.80 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.84% or 0.84 to hit $44.74 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.70% or 33.65 to trade at $1945.25 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.01% to 3.3646, while EUR/ILS fell 0.57% to 3.9839.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.43% at 92.737.
