Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.36%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.36%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were ISS A/S (CSE:ISS), which rose 2.95% or 2.82 points to trade at 98.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) added 2.50% or 23.2 points to end at 952.6 and Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was up 1.91% or 17.00 points to 905.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which fell 1.58% or 38.0 points to trade at 2362.0 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) declined 0.95% or 2.1 points to end at 220.1 and Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) was down 0.66% or 1.4 points to 210.6.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 83 to 47 and 21 ended unchanged.

Shares in Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) rose to all time highs; up 2.50% or 23.2 to 952.6.

Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.28% or 0.12 to $42.46 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.98% or 0.44 to hit $45.37 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.45% or 8.70 to trade at $1938.30 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.01% to 6.3095, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4437.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 93.245.
