Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.82%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.82%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW), which rose 9.80% or 60 points to trade at 677 at the close. Meanwhile, GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) added 6.22% or 25.5 points to end at 435.6 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 4.99% or 464 points to 9768 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which fell 1.67% or 6.8 points to trade at 399.3 at the close. Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM) declined 0.98% or 7.5 points to end at 755.5 and William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was down 0.34% or 0.7 points to 189.8.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 82 to 52 and 14 ended unchanged.

Shares in GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) rose to all time highs; up 6.22% or 25.5 to 435.6.

Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.32% or 0.14 to $42.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.33% or 0.15 to hit $45.31 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 2.32% or 46.80 to trade at $1966.30 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.45% to 6.2684, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4458.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.49% at 92.713.
