Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.44%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.44%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 3.23% or 14.1 points to trade at 450.0 at the close. Meanwhile, GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) added 0.10% or 0.4 points to end at 404.4 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was down 0.47% or 4.4 points to 928.8 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which fell 3.51% or 84.0 points to trade at 2307.0 at the close. ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) declined 3.31% or 3.45 points to end at 100.85 and Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM) was down 3.27% or 25.5 points to 755.5.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 89 to 46 and 11 ended unchanged.

Shares in Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) rose to 52-week highs; rising 3.23% or 14.1 to 450.0.

Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.64% or 0.27 to $41.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.51% or 0.23 to hit $44.73 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.20% or 23.60 to trade at $1946.80 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.15% to 6.2937, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4479.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.23% at 93.102.
