PGGM Investments reduced stake in CareTrust REIT

PGGM Investments’s holding in CareTrust REIT decreased to about 4.2 million shares with the transaction.

PGGM Investments first bought CareTrust REIT stock in the first quarter of 2020. PGGM Investments also owns ProLogis (NYSE:PLD), Simon Property Group (NYSE:SPG), Equity Residential (NYSE:EQR) and AvalonBay Communities (NYSE:AVB). CareTrust REIT is its number twenty four position by number of shares and market value among real estate investment trusts stocks.

Other investors who also reduced their CareTrust REIT shares include California State Teachers Retirement System, Fort Washington Investment Advisors, and Centersquare Investment Management. In contrast, Millennium Management and the T. Rowe Price Equity Income Fund added to CTRE shares, while Cohen & Steers Inc. established new holdings in CareTrust REIT.

PGGM Investments has also recently added to their share in Kilroy Realty Corp. (NYSE:KRC). The total value of the shares bought is estimated at around $62 million.
