Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.29%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.29% to hit a new all time high.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 4.56% or 17.2 points to trade at 394.8 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) added 2.72% or 6.2 points to end at 234.1 and Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) was up 2.04% or 12 points to 579 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG), which fell 4.60% or 9.2 points to trade at 191.0 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) declined 3.23% or 8.2 points to end at 246.0 and ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) was down 2.78% or 2.85 points to 99.50.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 65 to 64 and 20 ended unchanged.

Shares in Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) rose to 52-week highs; up 4.56% or 17.2 to 394.8.

Crude oil for August delivery was down 2.42% or 0.99 to $39.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.76% or 0.76 to hit $42.53 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.88% or 16.10 to trade at $1804.50 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.29% to 6.5927, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4481.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.31% at 96.670.
