Saudi Arabia stocks lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.08%

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.08%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were AXA Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8250), which rose 9.97% or 3.15 points to trade at 34.75 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:8060) added 9.93% or 1.48 points to end at 16.38 and Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8020) was up 9.89% or 1.26 points to 14.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (SE:4200), which fell 3.85% or 2.40 points to trade at 60.00 at the close. Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8120) declined 3.75% or 0.58 points to end at 14.88 and Yanbu National Petrochemical Co (SE:2290) was down 3.03% or 1.60 points to 51.20.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 101 to 85 and 14 ended unchanged.

Shares in AXA Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8250) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 9.97% or 3.15 to 34.75. Shares in Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8020) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 9.89% or 1.26 to 14.00.

Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.17% or 0.07 to $40.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.09% or 0.04 to hit $43.12 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.80% or 14.45 to trade at $1824.35 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.64% to 4.2544, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7510.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.42% at 96.433.
