Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 1.11%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.11% to hit a new 3-months high.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which rose 4.29% or 80.5 points to trade at 1958.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) added 3.84% or 8.2 points to end at 221.7 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) was up 3.79% or 24.2 points to 662.6 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were ISS A/S (CSE:ISS), which fell 5.07% or 6.25 points to trade at 116.95 at the close. Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) declined 2.75% or 9.7 points to end at 342.7 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was down 2.39% or 17.2 points to 702.8.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 68 to 66 and 15 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.28% or 0.11 to $38.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.51% or 0.21 to hit $40.97 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.16% or 2.80 to trade at $1724.70 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.15% to 6.5648, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4569.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 96.177.
