Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.40%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.40%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH), which rose 3.23% or 20.0 points to trade at 638.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) added 2.72% or 9.9 points to end at 374.3 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was up 2.16% or 15.2 points to 720.0 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were ISS A/S (CSE:ISS), which fell 3.79% or 4.85 points to trade at 123.20 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) declined 2.63% or 24.4 points to end at 905.0 and Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) was down 2.59% or 14 points to 535.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 88 to 47 and 14 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.63% or 0.24 to $37.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.96% or 0.39 to hit $40.41 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.09% or 18.55 to trade at $1723.65 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.45% to 6.5711, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4548.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.30% at 96.317.
