What pandemic?
Trump fans have taken to the water in recent days to show their support for the president, with hundreds enjoying a “MAGA” boat parade in Charleston, South Carolina on Sunday.

A Facebook FB, -1.15% page advertising the event drew than 700 people who signed up to take part. “Some young ladies in Charleston wanted to do a parade to show support for our president,” the page description read. “And we’re attacked with death threats. Well we’re not ones to be bullied.”

As expected in this climate, there were plenty of critics.
“Well, my first thought is that it was remarkable that when Americans were dying at the rate of over 1,000 a day, and 40 million people are out of work that somebody thought it was appropriate to hold a big party,” William Hamilton, a local Charleston activist, told WCSC.

South Carolina, as of Tuesday, has reported more than 10,000 coronavirus cases and 440 deaths, according to the latest tally from Johns Hopkins University.
