Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 1.26%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.26% to hit a new 1-month high.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which rose 6.01% or 10.1 points to trade at 178.1 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) added 5.72% or 11.8 points to end at 218.2 and DSV (CSE:DSV) was up 2.98% or 21.4 points to 739.8 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were ISS A/S (CSE:ISS), which fell 2.23% or 2.40 points to trade at 105.40 at the close. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) declined 1.08% or 7.0 points to end at 640.0 and Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) was down 0.94% or 2.4 points to 253.6.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 84 to 50 and 14 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for July delivery was up 2.47% or 0.79 to $32.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.76% or 0.61 to hit $35.26 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.33% or 5.80 to trade at $1751.40 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.47% to 6.7926, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4562.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 99.218.
