Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.80%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.80% to hit a new 1-month high.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM), which rose 5.26% or 35.0 points to trade at 700.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) added 4.53% or 11.1 points to end at 256.0 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was up 2.21% or 7.3 points to 337.9 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which fell 1.89% or 38.0 points to trade at 1975.0 at the close. William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT) declined 1.18% or 2.0 points to end at 168.0 and ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) was down 1.10% or 1.20 points to 107.80.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 81 to 52 and 14 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.60% or 0.19 to $31.46 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.15% or 0.40 to hit $34.41 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.63% or 10.85 to trade at $1745.25 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.17% to 6.8202, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.4546.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 99.532.
