The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Middle East Specialized Cables Co (SE:2370), which rose 10.00% or 0.77 points to trade at 8.47 at the close. Meanwhile, Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Company (SE:4001) added 9.09% or 8.50 points to end at 102.00 and Saudi Cable Company (SE:2110) was up 5.69% or 0.66 points to 12.26 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were The Saudi British Bank (SE:1060), which fell 6.13% or 1.44 points to trade at 22.06 at the close. Jazan Development Co. (SE:6090) declined 5.54% or 0.60 points to end at 10.24 and Qassim Agriculture Co. (SE:6020) was down 4.99% or 0.56 points to 10.66.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 120 to 65 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Company (SE:4001) rose to all time highs; gaining 9.09% or 8.50 to 102.00.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.36% or 0.35 to $25.43 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.37% or 0.11 to hit $29.87 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.38% or 6.45 to trade at $1713.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.14% to 4.0793, while USD/SAR rose 0.05% to 3.7580.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 99.998.
