Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.98%

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.98%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Cable Company (SE:2110), which rose 9.96% or 1.04 points to trade at 11.48 at the close. Meanwhile, Zahrat Al Waha for Trading Co (SE:3007) added 8.27% or 3.65 points to end at 47.80 and Al Andalus Property Co SJSC (SE:4320) was up 8.22% or 1.20 points to 15.80 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Saudi Automotive Services Co. (SE:4050), which fell 4.77% or 1.30 points to trade at 25.95 at the close. Saudi Pharmaceutical Appliances (SE:2070) declined 4.07% or 1.10 points to end at 25.95 and Wataniya Insurance Company (SE:8300) was down 3.88% or 0.94 points to 23.28.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 104 to 84 and 12 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.49% or 0.10 to $20.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 4.44% or 1.17 to hit $25.18 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.11% or 1.80 to trade at $1594.80 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.87% to 4.1142, while USD/SAR fell 0.03% to 3.7620.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.46% at 99.545.
