At the close in Copenhagen, the rose 0.94%.
The best performers of the session on the were Genmab (CSE:), which rose 9.71% or 114.5 points to trade at 1293.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CSE:) added 7.03% or 65.8 points to end at 1002.0 and Lundbeck A/S (CSE:) was up 3.15% or 6.3 points to 206.3 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Simcorp A/S (CSE:), which fell 9.81% or 52.0 points to trade at 478.0 at the close. AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:) declined 9.43% or 524 points to end at 5034 and ISS A/S (CSE:) was down 5.55% or 4.16 points to 70.86.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 80 to 56 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Simcorp A/S (CSE:) fell to 52-week lows; losing 9.81% or 52.0 to 478.0. Shares in Coloplast A/S (CSE:) rose to all time highs; rising 7.03% or 65.8 to 1002.0. Shares in AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:) fell to 5-year lows; falling 9.43% or 524 to 5034. Shares in ISS A/S (CSE:) fell to all time lows; falling 5.55% or 4.16 to 70.86.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 21.94% or 4.57 to $25.40 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 13.26% or 3.30 to hit $28.18 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.09% or 1.35 to trade at $1479.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 2.00% to 6.9837, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4740.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 1.49% at 103.055.
