The best performers of the session on the were The National Shipping Co. (SE:), which rose 9.91% or 3.20 points to trade at 35.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Anaam International Holding Group (SE:) added 9.89% or 12.40 points to end at 137.80 and Tabuk Agriculture Development Co (SE:) was up 5.52% or 0.44 points to 8.41 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:), which fell 10.00% or 1.20 points to trade at 10.80 at the close. City Cement Co (SE:) declined 10.00% or 1.58 points to end at 14.22 and Al Hokair Group (SE:) was down 9.96% or 1.34 points to 12.12.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 176 to 19 and 3 ended unchanged.
Shares in Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:) fell to 3-years lows; losing 10.00% or 1.20 to 10.80. Shares in Al Hokair Group (SE:) fell to all time lows; down 9.96% or 1.34 to 12.12.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 2.18% or 0.75 to $33.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 2.02% or 0.75 to hit $36.47 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.14% or 2.25 to trade at $1658.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.38% to 4.2489, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7535.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 96.157.
