The best performers of the session on the were Al Moammar Information Systems Co CJSC (SE:), which rose 9.87% or 4.70 points to trade at 52.30 at the close. Meanwhile, National Gypsum Company (SE:) added 5.82% or 0.92 points to end at 16.72 and National Company for Learning and Education SJSC (SE:) was up 5.73% or 1.60 points to 29.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:), which fell 3.64% or 0.48 points to trade at 12.72 at the close. Saudi Real Estate Co. (SE:) declined 3.26% or 0.48 points to end at 14.26 and Ash-Sharqiyah Development Company (SE:) was down 3.17% or 2.60 points to 79.30.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 175 to 20 and 3 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.24% or 0.65 to $52.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.49% or 0.86 to hit $58.61 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.22% or 3.45 to trade at $1607.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.01% to 4.0475, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 99.487.
