The worst performers of the session were CyberAgent Inc (T:), which fell 1.74% or 65.0 points to trade at 3665.0 at the close. Mitsubishi Estate Co Ltd (T:) declined 1.71% or 38.0 points to end at 2185.5 and Advantest Corp. (T:) was down 1.62% or 100.0 points to 6060.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tokyo Stock Exchange by 1832 to 1730 and 214 ended unchanged.
