Germany stocks mixed at close of trade; DAX up 0.27%

Investing.com – Germany stocks were mixed after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher while losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Frankfurt, the added 0.27%, while the index fell 0.03%, and the index declined 0.73%.

The best performers of the session on the were Fresenius Medical Care KGAA ST (DE:), which rose 1.96% or 1.280 points to trade at 66.640 at the close. Meanwhile, MTU Aero Engines NA O.N. (DE:) added 1.17% or 3.00 points to end at 259.00 and Deutsche Post AG NA O.N. (DE:) was up 1.15% or 0.390 points to 34.405 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Bayer AG NA (DE:), which fell 0.53% or 0.39 points to trade at 73.21 at the close. Muench. Rueckvers. VNA O.N. (DE:) declined 0.49% or 1.30 points to end at 265.40 and Deutsche Lufthansa AG (DE:) was down 0.21% or 0.035 points to 16.425.

The top performers on the MDAX were TeamViewer AG (DE:) which rose 5.36% to 32.65, CTS Eventim AG (DE:) which was up 2.22% to settle at 57.650 and CompuGroup Medical AG O.N. (DE:) which gained 2.21% to close at 64.650.

The worst performers were Qiagen NV (DE:) which was down 17.96% to 30.380 in late trade, RTL Group SA (DE:) which lost 0.58% to settle at 44.260 and GEA Group AG (DE:) which was down 0.56% to 29.980 at the close.

The top performers on the TecDAX were RIB Software AG Na (DE:) which rose 5.91% to 22.220, TeamViewer AG (DE:) which was up 5.36% to settle at 32.65 and CompuGroup Medical AG O.N. (DE:) which gained 2.21% to close at 64.650.

The worst performers were Qiagen NV (DE:) which was down 17.96% to 30.380 in late trade, Nordex SE O.N. (DE:) which lost 0.50% to settle at 11.960 and Nemetschek AG O.N. (DE:) which was down 0.42% to 59.500 at the close.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 374 to 306 and 76 ended unchanged.

Shares in TeamViewer AG (DE:) rose to all time highs; up 5.36% or 1.66 to 32.65. Shares in CTS Eventim AG (DE:) rose to all time highs; up 2.22% or 1.250 to 57.650. Shares in TeamViewer AG (DE:) rose to all time highs; up 5.36% or 1.66 to 32.65.

The , which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, was up 1.68% to 13.28.

Gold Futures for February delivery was up 0.19% or 2.95 to $1517.35 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in February rose 0.15% or 0.09 to hit $61.77 a barrel, while the February Brent oil contract rose 0.38% or 0.26 to trade at $68.18 a barrel.

EUR/USD was up 0.76% to 1.1180, while EUR/GBP fell 0.01% to 0.8538.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.54% at 96.595.
