The worst performers of the session were Yahoo Japan Corp. (T:), which fell 8.18% or 34.5 points to trade at 387.5 at the close. Taiyo Yuden Co., Ltd. (T:) declined 4.94% or 148.0 points to end at 2845.0 and CyberAgent Inc (T:) was down 4.35% or 155.0 points to 3405.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tokyo Stock Exchange by 1840 to 1669 and 245 ended unchanged.
