Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the gained 0.47% to hit a new 6-months high.
The best performers of the session on the were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:), which rose 11.21% or 282 points to trade at 2797 at the close. Meanwhile, Ormat Technologies (TASE:) added 3.53% or 930 points to end at 27290 and Paz Oil (TASE:) was up 2.87% or 1480 points to 52980 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Liveperson (TASE:), which fell 4.65% or 650 points to trade at 13340 at the close. Delek Drilling LP (TASE:) declined 2.79% or 25 points to end at 877 and Airport City Ltd (TASE:) was down 2.55% or 175 points to 6694.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 231 to 164 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in Ormat Technologies (TASE:) rose to all time highs; up 3.53% or 930 to 27290.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.48% or 0.79 to $54.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.95% or 0.56 to hit $59.52 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.16% or 2.45 to trade at $1485.65 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.23% to 3.5319, while EUR/ILS fell 0.31% to 3.9343.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 97.123.
