At the close in Copenhagen, the gained 0.81%.
The best performers of the session on the were AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:), which rose 7.75% or 618 points to trade at 8590 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CSE:) added 3.59% or 10.0 points to end at 288.4 and ISS A/S (CSE:) was up 3.14% or 5.15 points to 169.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CSE:), which fell 1.67% or 23.5 points to trade at 1386.0 at the close. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:) declined 1.25% or 6.6 points to end at 519.8 and William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:) was down 0.96% or 1.6 points to 171.1.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 78 to 45 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.17% or 0.63 to $53.24 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.31% or 0.78 to hit $58.64 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.34% or 5.05 to trade at $1489.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.15% to 6.6975, while EUR/DKK rose 0.23% to 7.4708.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 96.993.
