(DE:) added 1.14% or 2.80 points to end at 247.90 and Siemens AG Class N (DE:) was up 0.86% or 0.85 points to 99.77 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Wirecard AG (DE:), which fell 6.95% or 8.275 points to trade at 110.875 at the close. Fresenius SE & Co KGAA O.N. (DE:) declined 2.53% or 1.125 points to end at 43.365 and Daimler AG NA O.N. (DE:) was down 1.42% or 0.700 points to 48.425.
The top performers on the MDAX were Software AG (DE:) which rose 3.22% to 26.590, Osram Licht AG (DE:) which was up 3.03% to settle at 40.15 and Siltronic AG (DE:) which gained 1.56% to close at 76.640.
The worst performers were Nemetschek AG O.N. (DE:) which was down 3.78% to 46.780 in late trade, Zalando SE (DE:) which lost 2.47% to settle at 41.53 and Hugo Boss AG NA O.N. (DE:) which was down 2.34% to 36.350 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were Software AG (DE:) which rose 3.22% to 26.590, Siltronic AG (DE:) which was up 1.56% to settle at 76.640 and Isra Vision O.N. (DE:) which gained 1.05% to close at 40.50.
The worst performers were Wirecard AG (DE:) which was down 6.95% to 110.875 in late trade, S&T AG (DE:) which lost 4.56% to settle at 17.59 and Nemetschek AG O.N. (DE:) which was down 3.78% to 46.780 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 417 to 249 and 91 ended unchanged.
Shares in Muench. Rueckvers. VNA O.N. (DE:) rose to all time highs; gaining 1.14% or 2.80 to 247.90. Shares in Hugo Boss AG NA O.N. (DE:) fell to 5-year lows; falling 2.34% or 0.870 to 36.350.

EUR/USD was up 0.34% to 1.1159, while EUR/GBP fell 0.14% to 0.8615.
