At the close in Frankfurt, the gained 1.15% to hit a new 3-months high, while the index added 1.09%, and the index gained 0.07%.
The best performers of the session on the were Deutsche Bank AG NA O.N. (DE:), which rose 2.88% or 0.197 points to trade at 7.049 at the close. Meanwhile, Bayerische Motoren Werke AG (DE:) added 2.65% or 1.720 points to end at 66.630 and Fresenius SE & Co KGAA O.N. (DE:) was up 2.56% or 1.080 points to 43.290 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Wirecard AG (DE:), which fell 12.80% or 17.925 points to trade at 122.075 at the close. MTU Aero Engines NA O.N. (DE:) declined 2.58% or 6.30 points to end at 238.00 and Henkel & Co KGaA AG Pref (DE:) was down 0.77% or 0.72 points to 92.76.
The top performers on the MDAX were Siltronic AG (DE:) which rose 5.01% to 77.200, Drillisch AG (DE:) which was up 4.83% to settle at 31.240 and Gerresheimer AG (DE:) which gained 4.29% to close at 65.700.
The worst performers were Rheinmetall AG (DE:) which was down 3.30% to 107.100 in late trade, MTU Aero Engines NA O.N. (DE:) which lost 2.58% to settle at 238.00 and Hugo Boss AG NA O.N. (DE:) which was down 2.15% to 36.790 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were Draegerwerk VZO O.N. (DE:) which rose 11.54% to 53.250, Siltronic AG (DE:) which was up 5.01% to settle at 77.200 and Drillisch AG (DE:) which gained 4.83% to close at 31.240.
The worst performers were Wirecard AG (DE:) which was down 12.80% to 122.075 in late trade, Medigene NA O.N. (DE:) which lost 1.81% to settle at 5.970 and SLM Solutions Group AG (DE:) which was down 1.24% to 14.28 at the close.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 428 to 231 and 92 ended unchanged.
Shares in Hugo Boss AG NA O.N. (DE:) fell to 5-year lows; losing 2.15% or 0.810 to 36.790.
