Investing.com – Germany stocks were mixed after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher while losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Frankfurt, the declined 0.20%, while the index added 0.04%, and the index climbed 0.06%.

The best performers of the session on the were Deutsche Boerse AG (DE:), which rose 1.37% or 1.950 points to trade at 143.850 at the close. Meanwhile, Beiersdorf AG O.N. (DE:) added 1.06% or 1.100 points to end at 104.450 and RWE AG ST O.N. (DE:) was up 0.89% or 0.240 points to 27.230 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Wirecard AG (DE:), which fell 1.44% or 2.050 points to trade at 140.000 at the close. Infineon Technologies AG NA O.N. (DE:) declined 1.39% or 0.234 points to end at 16.644 and Allianz SE VNA O.N. (DE:) was down 1.13% or 2.40 points to 210.70.

The top performers on the MDAX were Sartorius AG VZO O.N. (DE:) which rose 4.58% to 171.300, CompuGroup Medical AG O.N. (DE:) which was up 2.41% to settle at 55.150 and Duerr AG (DE:) which gained 2.34% to close at 24.880.

The worst performers were Hugo Boss AG NA O.N. (DE:) which was down 2.97% to 37.600 in late trade, Gerresheimer AG (DE:) which lost 2.10% to settle at 63.000 and Dialog Semiconductor (DE:) which was down 1.94% to 42.450 at the close.

The top performers on the TecDAX were Sartorius AG VZO O.N. (DE:) which rose 4.58% to 171.300, Aixtron SE NA O.N. (DE:) which was up 4.44% to settle at 9.2760 and Draegerwerk VZO O.N. (DE:) which gained 3.07% to close at 47.740.

The worst performers were Qiagen NV (DE:) which was down 16.20% to 24.670 in late trade, Dialog Semiconductor (DE:) which lost 1.94% to settle at 42.4500 and Software AG (DE:) which was down 1.74% to 25.390 at the close.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 365 to 313 and 80 ended unchanged.

Shares in Deutsche Boerse AG (DE:) rose to all time highs; rising 1.37% or 1.950 to 143.850. Shares in Hugo Boss AG NA O.N. (DE:) fell to 5-year lows; falling 2.97% or 1.150 to 37.600.

The , which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, was up 0.69% to 16.02.

Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.55% or 8.25 to $1496.95 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 2.16% or 1.18 to hit $53.52 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract fell 2.16% or 1.31 to trade at $59.20 a barrel.

EUR/USD was down 0.10% to 1.1029, while EUR/GBP rose 0.64% to 0.8779.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 98.192.
