At the close in Saudi Arabia, the lost 0.26% to hit a new 6-months low.
The best performers of the session on the were Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:), which rose 7.58% or 4.70 points to trade at 66.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Nama Chemicals Co. (SE:) added 5.29% or 1.10 points to end at 21.90 and Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (SE:) was up 3.08% or 0.27 points to 9.03 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:), which fell 3.93% or 1.05 points to trade at 25.70 at the close. Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE:) declined 3.89% or 0.70 points to end at 17.30 and Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:) was down 3.73% or 0.60 points to 15.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 134 to 49 and 12 ended unchanged.
Shares in Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE:) fell to 52-week lows; down 3.89% or 0.70 to 17.30.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.08% or 0.57 to $53.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.82% or 0.48 to hit $58.80 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.82% or 12.45 to trade at $1500.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.48% to 4.1338, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7507.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 98.488.
