The best performers of the session on the were Nufarm Ltd (ASX:), which rose 15.25% or 0.860 points to trade at 6.500 at the close. Meanwhile, Technology One Ltd (ASX:) added 6.55% or 0.470 points to end at 7.650 and Jumbo Interactive Ltd (ASX:) was up 6.24% or 1.510 points to 25.700 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Netwealth Group Ltd (ASX:), which fell 3.84% or 0.350 points to trade at 8.760 at the close. Hub24 Ltd (ASX:) declined 3.65% or 0.460 points to end at 12.130 and Webjet Ltd (ASX:) was down 3.57% or 0.390 points to 10.520.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Sydney Stock Exchange by 624 to 528 and 359 ended unchanged.
The , which measures the implied volatility of S&P/ASX 200 options, was down 3.90% to 12.650.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.28% or 4.15 to $1468.75 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 0.50% or 0.27 to hit $54.34 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract rose 0.52% or 0.31 to trade at $59.56 a barrel.
AUD/USD was down 0.67% to 0.6704, while AUD/JPY fell 0.49% to 72.56.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 99.178.
