At the close in Saudi Arabia, the added 0.45% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the were BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (SE:), which rose 6.21% or 1.14 points to trade at 19.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:) added 4.31% or 0.62 points to end at 15.02 and Jabal Omar Development Company (SE:) was up 3.73% or 0.95 points to 26.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Allied Cooperative Insurance Group SJSC (SE:), which fell 3.53% or 0.60 points to trade at 16.40 at the close. Anb Insurance (SE:) declined 2.82% or 0.50 points to end at 17.20 and Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:) was down 2.06% or 0.70 points to 33.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 122 to 56 and 14 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.89% or 0.50 to $55.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.92% or 0.56 to hit $60.48 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.10% or 16.55 to trade at $1489.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.29% to 4.0916, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7512.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 98.958.
