Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.34%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.34%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 3.09% or 2.84 points to trade at 94.90 at the close. Meanwhile, ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) added 2.74% or 3.25 points to end at 122.00 and Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was up 2.37% or 6.80 points to 293.20 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED), which fell 2.73% or 9.60 points to trade at 342.50 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) declined 1.13% or 8.80 points to end at 767.40 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) was down 0.74% or 8.00 points to 1,080.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 80 to 63 and 23 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was up 2.62% or 1.82 to $71.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 2.38% or 1.76 to hit $75.81 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 1.22% or 25.00 to trade at $2,021.40 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.38% to 6.93, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.47% at 103.99.
