Saudi Arabia stocks lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 1.93%

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 1.93% to hit a new 6-months low.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Hokair Group (TADAWUL:1820), which rose 9.74% or 0.19 points to trade at 2.14 at the close. Meanwhile, Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8050) added 6.63% or 1.95 points to end at 31.35 and Riyadh Cables Group Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4142) was up 3.09% or 2.10 points to 70.10 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Saudi Tadawul Group Holding Co (TADAWUL:1111), which fell 7.49% or 13.20 points to trade at 163.00 at the close. Halwani Bros (TADAWUL:6001) declined 7.32% or 3.40 points to end at 43.05 and Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:4160) was down 6.95% or 1.12 points to 15.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 239 to 32 and 18 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.19% or 1.05 to $87.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.97% or 0.89 to hit $91.27 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.23% or 4.65 to trade at $1,989.75 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.13% to 3.98, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 105.93.
